I consider myself as an open minded and positive person. Growing up on the East-Belgian countryside, I was always surrounded by nature and my large and wonderful family.
Today, after some time of searching, I am happily living and studying in cologne, enjoying the benefits of a big city.
I am not a great backpacker. When traveling, I rather prefer to stay at the same place for some time, to acclimatize to the environment and culture.
Anyway I really enjoy meeting new people and getting to know different points of view and realities of life.

Im new here!
I signed in mainly because I am tired of impersonal 10-bed city hostels and can not afford other accommodation.
Now that I read some experience reports and profiles and familiarized with the philosophy of CS, I am really fascinated by the concept and eager to become a part of it.

(In case you are wondering why I'm a "member since 2016": back then I created the account, being on a hitchhike trip through Europe. But we ended up using our tent all the time.)
