Hi I am a retired community worker from Cape Town. Founder and previous director for 25 years of a gay rights NGO - a non-profit organisation that tries to change homophobia in Africa fumed by religious fundamentalism and cultural patriarchy.

I travel a lot and love meeting new people and experiencing new things and challenges. My to-go-to places are Amsterdam and Rhodes Island, Greece
My best time while travelling is walking the streets and sitting in roadside cafes watching people pass by. Nothing more interesting than watching diversity of people. I Love to listen to other's travelling and life experiences and sharing thoughts and philosophy without getting too political
I am into arts and culture, but have done that enough museums for now. A French existentialist philosopher once said: “I no longer look for happiness, only awareness, Awareness can only be found on the streets”

I appreciate the diversity of different people and cultures and really like to get to know new people to experience their city/home through their stories and make friends and be open to a wide variety of places and people. I love listening to stories and share experiences.

Lived in many places and countries and learned that I still know very little. Share my sense of history in order not to repeat the same mistakes. My hobby (and sometimes teaching) is painting.
