ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Piia. I'm an ex-traveler who still loves many things that traveling includes: meeting people, speaking English, living in the moment, surprises. Fortunately life can be like this also at home, as now after my adventures in different cities&countries I've ended up in the situation that feels like "how things are supposed to be"; living in Helsinki and studying theology. I'm quite settled at the moment and live in a cute flat and all, but still I have a nomad heart: I carry my home within.

As a couchsurfing host I'm not the most active one; parties and other activities are great sometimes but usually I live quite simple and peaceful life and enjoy evenings at home. I'm also not the most enthusiastic Helsinki-guide and hope that my guests are quite independent (don't need constant entertaining), but I'd like to welcome you to share my everyday life and lentil soup:)

My biggest interest is spirituality in all its forms and I'd very gladly share experiences, visions etc. But however "spirituality" is just a word, I've learned a lot from people who don't call themselves spiritual at all!
