ABOUT ME

I am a 52 years old Hungarian. I studied reformed theology, learned psychodrama, was church minister (pastor) in Ukraine and Hungary, university chaplain in Debrecen (H), volunteered in USA by UCC, worked for a christian radio in Miskolc, looked after Hungarian protestants in German speaking Switzerland and in the last half year worked as a host in a guesthouse in Interlaken. After a long year without a properly job since August of 2017 I live in Tschiertschen on 1350 m high in the beautiful Graubünden. I work again as a minister (pastor) in four small villages. And I live alone in a big empty parish house.... :)
This is the "past perfect". Since December 2019 I am not anymore in Graubünden. I am mostly in Budapest and by the lake Balaton. And in the future I will spend maybe again more time in Zürich.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I like getting to know new people, cultures, authentic local tastes and places what doesn't include the tour guide. And this is also not a secret, I travel always with a low budget and it is important for me not have to spend to much money for accommodation. And of course I understand - and try to help - very good people in similar situation.

Christmaseve of 1989 I spent in the Sowietunion in a half Hungarian half Ukraine city and watched the Rumanian Revolution on TV 50 km from the Rumanian border away.
