ABOUT ME

I know it says I've replied to 0%, but I don't know where that came from. I'll definitely reply and probably let you stay with me. I'd love to show you around.

I'm a FTSLTV (First Time Surfer Long Time Viewer) and I'm a film student at the University of Southern Mississippi, or at least I was until they pulled the program out from under me. Now I'm thinking about transferring or changing majors. Maybe considering switching to an english major or something that would help me get into comics.

I'm a really low maintenance surfer. I like being hosted, but if I'm coming through on a weekend when you have an all day meeting or something, as long as I have a couch I'm pretty content wondering around by myself and exploring.

I've surfed tons of times now, but I've never hosted. I would like to though.

Even if you don't want to stay with me I'd love to show you around or hang out if I can make the time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Baltimore was mostly righteous. Lots of bookstores and coffeehouses and that whole deal. Mostly wondering around a huge bitchin' city.

Kernersville City was probably my favorite. It pretty much blew my freakin' mind it was so cool. Easily the best city in the entire southeast! If you're ever in the area you have to visit!

Bloomington was freaking great too. Also, Atlanta, Chicago, and Nashville.

Interests

I'm all about comics, playing music, traveling, climbing stuff, movies.

Right now though I'm pretty much a slave to the Olive Garden, so if you wanna stay with me, we may have to work around that.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read, but mostly comics or "graphic novels". I occasionally hit up books for funsies, though slowly but surely prose is disappearing from my library. I like Jeff Lemire's Essex County, Watchmen, High Fidelity, Good-bye Chunky Rice, Persepolis, Maus, Batman: Dark Knight Returns, Jimmy Corrigan, Tricked and so on.

I really don't watch a whole lot of movies for a film major, but I'm working on that.

Music: Simon & Garfunkel, Arcade Fire, The Beatles, Ben Folds, Modest Mouse, America, William Shatner, Daft Punk, Ben Kweller, Cake, and Polyphonic Spree.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gone to Wyoming and caught an armadillo. Not that amazing, but I'm workin' on it.
