Overview
About Me
I‘m Pina and I started my travel in September. So far I‘ve traveled Indonesia, East Australia, New Zealand and are now going to explore south and middle America. Hopefully there will be many other countries following. I‘m interested in every country so I guess that means it will be a long-life travel and I‘m really looking forward to fulfill that dream step by step. I‘m living on a small budget but I can live comfortable even with very little.
I love every kind of sports (I played soccer for 9 years, enjoy the gym and I love running and biking. In Indonesia I discovered ocean swims to be one of my favourite activities to work out). I like outdoor activities as well as relaxed evenings including cooking, chess, yoga or a good movie.
These are just a few interests I have but there are many others and some of them I haven‘t even be able to explore further yet - dancing (like salsa and swing), hunting and spear fishing would be one of them.
(If you would like to see more reviews, I also do helpx. Just ask and I am happy to provide :))
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I read about Couchsurfing in one of my travel books and since then I was keen to try. I‘m hoping to find likeminded people to share thoughts and experiences with. I‘m very interested in getting to know the daily life and being part of it. In general I do not enjoy big tourist attractions but instead I love getting to know the real culture of the country (the good and the bad).
I feel home and alive when meeting like-minded travelers but mostly it assures me that traveling is one thing I life for.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy many types of music which could range from classic to latin to englisch Rap. There are many songs I love listening to but I barely know the lyrics and I almost never know the title or interpret so it‘s always a little challenge to explain what kind of music I like.
Same for movies and books. But I recently watched Good Will Hunting and Hidden Figures and liked it a lot. I also like documentaries and books about psychology, science, traveling and nature like „With 50 € around the world“
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Started solo traveling
not listend to people telling me couchsurfing is dangerous

Hiked to a hut up a Mountain in New Zealand and it was just me, nature and my sleeping bag

Teach, Learn, Share
I like to share simple moments , good conversations, exchange travel stories and just in general having a fun and enjoyable time together, listen, help cooking, laughing, I can explain something to you but actually have no clue at all
