Hello, I'm Pinar, after 10 years I am changing the info about myself and I might sound a bit arrogant. I need to clarify some things because of a couple of weird experiences I had with surfers recently.
I used to think this app is for travelers who try to see the world on a budget so I didn't mind last minute requests, people who don't want to hang out, and use my home just for shower and bed, which are still totally OK. But now that we are all paying for this app I also want to get something from it. I use couchsurfing to meet travelers, have conversations, socialize, and help people. If I wanted to run a hotel, I would use other apps.
Long story short, please please let me know about your plans, about what time you'll arrive, how many days you might stay (yes I had experiences with surfers who didn't show up/stayed more than requested and I was OK until I got angry :)
