About Me

!ATTENTION!

Dearest all surfers,

Sorry to inform you that I am not available for hosting recently.

Hope you all have a great trip all over the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first Couchsurfing experience was when I travelled to Zurich, Switzerland. I hesitated if I chose hostels or someone's spare couches.
Then my inner adventurous spirit beat me, and once it happened, it's hard to hold me back from exploring fascination of diverse cultures and meeting friends from different backgrounds.
I enjoy listening to travellers’ amazing stories, spending wonderful time with them and exchanging our interests and thoughts on the life.

Thousands thanks for all my hosts, highly appreciate your kindness and awesomeness!

Interests

Top 3:
- Arts
You won't believe in how many years I have practiced dance. It's more than 20 years, since I was just 5 years old. And it’s the entire core reason of why I love the arts so much!
I have learned these kinds of dance,
Chinese Traditional & Folk Dance, Contemporary Dance, Indian & Japanese Dance, Tap Dance, Cowboy Dance, Rumba, Cha-Cha, Jazz.
Contemporary dance is my favourite, because it’s the most powerful way to manifest your interior monologue.
Isadora Duncan, Pina Bausch, Martha Graham, Merce Cunningham, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, Xing JIN are those choreographers I admire and respect.

My artistic career has evolved from dancer to teacher, then choreographer to events manager. And I found the arts have internal connections, over the time, I yearned to explore more possibilities within the arts, and that’s why I decided to quit my job, and to enhance my global exposure with world leading art managers and cultural icons by studying in Paris.

- Cultures
If you want to experience a culture is totally different from your own background, please take a trip outside your city, learn a language you are not familiar, and meet new friends from other countries. It’s the key factor employed by Couchsurfing, I’d like to be one of contributors for co-building this lovely worldwide community.

And it also reminds me of an interdisciplinary Brazilian martial art – Capoeira, I have practiced it since 2010. So far I can sing Portuguese songs, play Capoeira instruments, and meet friends from all over the world, and I was even invited to USA to participate in my first master’s Capoeira Reunion. We are like a big family with the same concept as Couchsurfing.

- Learning New Things
“Learning never exhausts the mind.” – Leonardo da Vinci
Leonardo is widely recognised as one of the most diversely talented individuals ever to have lived. And his genius always motivates me to keep learning to be a better people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2015 summer, I took a 40 days solo trip cross from east coast to west coast in the United States of America. That was my first time to USA, 11 cities and 6 surfers hosted me and gave me a lot of treats.
During this trip, the most amazing thing was I unexpectedly met my San Francisco couch at the Yellowstone National Park, especially when I was worried about no place to stay in SF. Sometimes it’s just a fate, and my host is a dancer too, we danced Cuban Salsa together in the forest, noted that was a starry night.
