ABOUT ME

I love learning, exploring and meeting new people. Trying to learn how to speak french, play the irish whistle and honing in on scuba diving skills (ideally). What I'm actually doing currently is trying to fix my car, avoiding paperwork and figuring out whether it's ok to have no social life. Would consider myself as a non-confrontational with an inability-to-make-decisions-but-can-be-still-rather-opinionated person.

Also, I'm a bit of a cocktail in the nationality department - try and guess!

I love meeting locals, and have done the strangest things that only by living in a place you will see/do. Nude art party anyone (art, not me)? Hunting kangaroo? Ice climbing?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have met some incredible people from all walks of life... in the end, the place is only as good as the people you meet :D

(side note: I've also had some pretty creepy experiences too. Just because you don't have personal space, it doesn't mean mine disappears too)

This section scares me...

I haven't watched too many movies, read enough books or listened to enough music. Friends keep trying to sit me down for movie marathons or listen to pre-made playlists in order to 'culture' me. Don't think that process has been too successful though.

Guess that means my brain is waiting to be manipulated with your opinions. What an opportunity.

Played games with the orphans in Cambodia... Sung with Australian aboriginies in a closed community... Spent time with under-age sex workers awaiting trial in Taiwan...danced to a drumming circle in Montreal...Lived in a french chateau... Swam with giant turtles in Indonesia...Cliff diving in the Cote d'Azure..

Loved, learned and realised that life really is beautiful!

I can play recorder. Yes, I actually played it properly in baroque ensembles. Want to know how to play treble (alto) recorder? Haha..

Once the Irish whistle is mastered, then you can get lessons on that too. As long as you don't mind sharing spit.

I'm definitely up for anything that involves french. language, that is.
