About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm traveling in Southeast Asia attempting to eat my way through every fruit stand and night market.
PHILOSOPHY
Embrace the duality of man without identifying it in terms of good and evil. Positive and negative forces are necessary on a molecular level. Yin and Yang. Tao of Pooh. Also, more cartwheels.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm pretty bad about updating this thing and haven't always had a couch to share, however; I have hosted and stayed with many friends, friends of friends, and extended acquaintances. I love a good meeting of the minds.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was recently in the Philippines and managed to explore 2000 year old rice terraces that cover miles of hilly, lush green landscape. This ancient civil engineering project amazed me with its quiet yet fully functional beauty.
Teach, Learn, Share
In general, I enjoy conversations about social history, geographical context, and present realities. I can discuss at length topics (in descending order) including Northern Nevada, the development of the United States constitution and political order, human relationships, ashtanga yoga, my impressions of Cambodia, traveling, and more. I would like to continue learning about the modern history of southeast Asian nations and the people that currently reside within their borders. I like to ask questions.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I enjoy cooking breakfast and love to eat and share meals with good company. I'm tidy and am happy to help around the house with projects.
