About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be happy and healthy in life and love and to give back more than I take.
ABOUT ME
Riding my bike, homemade ice cream, and all things crafty are just a few of my favorite things. I also enjoy cooking, crossword puzzles, and volunteering at the non-profit movie theater near my house. I'm friendly and funny and I could write more about myself but it feels a little awkward and vane. I'm much more interesting in person than on paper so you'll just have to meet me to find out the rest.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to live my life as simply as I can and focus on the things that make me happy, like my cat.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well, I'm still new to this CS thing, but I have known about it for many years and have met other surfers over the years. I haven't needed its services until now but since getting started I plan to be an active participant for years to come.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Although I am very new to CS, I have been surfing and hosting since I bought my first couch, 7 yrs ago. Usually just friends, or friends of friends visiting and traveling on a tight budget. I enjoy the close, personal experience of staying in somebody's home versus a hotel or hostel.

Music, Movies, and Books
Considering the amount of music that I listen to and the number of movies that I watch, it's really difficult to "list any that I am interested in." But if I were stranded on a deserted island and had to pick my five favorite movies and albums- I would bring True Romance, Amelie, Harold and Maude, Edward Scissorhands, Holy Mountain (if that deserted island was covered in magic mushrooms) and for music- Otis Redding's greatest hits, Jamie Lidell's Multiply, The Fiery Furnaces Gallowsbird's Park, Tom Waits Big Time, and Elliott Smith's Either/Or.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I like to think that amazing is yet to come in my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make the best english toffee. I'd like to learn karate. I am good at sharing.
