我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have ended up on gigs of artists I didn't knew about. And speaking in many languages. Going sometimes into deep discussions. And laughing a lot.

I have been offered french home made cuisine in France, belgian chocolate by a Belgian and turkish coffee by a Turk.

I have been finding myself interested to explore Helsinki and figure out what are the specialities of Finland and how to show them to others.

And then again I have understood how division into countries and cultures is often arbitrary.
I have made friends.

I have had good night sleeps and morning coffees and became richer in experiences.

兴趣

Changes and novel things and thoughts are enjoyable to me. I am curious to hear or read about new ideas and theories.

As for hobbies, I tend to try all kinds of yoga and dance classes. I love to test new veggie recipes, and I just started to knit and take singing lessons.

Music: Blur, David Bowie, Nouvelle Vague, Beatles, AIR, Arcade Fire, The Smiths & St Vincent.

Movies: Indies, oldies, frenchies and films by Gondry, Tarantino, Wes Anderson, Almodóvar, Sofia Coppola and Kaurismäki make me run for the box office.

Books: I love to read classic novels and contemporary classics e.g. Murakami, Franzen, Pamuk (and of course books by contemporary Finnish writers too) but I aim to give a chance sometimes to books that I don't know much about. Often they give me adventures of heart and mind.
