I am an 18-year-old student from London, I am very interested in learning about different cultures and about new music, films, art, food etc. that go with it!

I am very much looking forward to travelling to Portugal for a whole month and improving my Portuguese and being immersed in a culture I am so interested in. I can't wait to visit all of the galleries, cafés, markets, beaches and everything Portugal has to offer and trying to immerse into it (and top up on my tan).

I am a massive Jim Jarmusch fan and Jean Luc Godard, Agnes Varda, Greta Gerwig and loads others

I haven't read majorly in a while but I have a massive stack of books to get through this summer and am very keen on receiving recomendations :)

I am looking to improve my Portuguese while I am in Porto, my girlfriend and her family are all from the north (Póvoa De Varzim) and I really want to talk to them more in their native language as they make such an effort in English. I also absolutely love cooking and especially Portuguese cooking and am so excited by the prospect of cheap fresh ingredients at markets etc.

I can also play quite a few instruments if you are into that we could play together :)
