PHILOSOPHY

Physicists and hard scientists usually disregard philosophy, even tough I love it so much! But surely, there are more things in heaven and earth, than in whatever philosophy! And Godel's theorems suggest that it's sloppy to hope for a coherent and complete system of believes, so... Anyway. In short, heuristics, pragmatics and a smidgen of idealism ;)

A dear friend introduced me to this great project; since then, I've just fallen in love with it, and never stopped practicing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted many times and I've always met nice people, had fun and been pleased to have joined CS. On the contrary, I've surfed just once, in the Holy Land... and I've been blessed by a great experience! Now I'm simply eager to have some more...

Movies: masterpieces of science-fiction or fantasy (dune, the black hole, star wars, matrix, conan, lord of rings, strange days), but also historical movies (casablanca, ben-hur, quo vadis); the Coen brothers' movies, Reunion...
Music; I'd like fusion, electro-swing, house/minimal, 80's, 'classic' rock...
Books: Tolstoj, Ende, Dickens, Asimov, Swift, Rousseau, Herbert...

Lehren, lernen, teilen

well.. teaching is my job! :) But beside barren physics or maths, I had experience in teaching my native language, body-building/fitness and Christian theology.
I'd like to learn some other language, some new sport practice and learn every aspect of people's habits, particularly those not western-like.
