About Me

PS! Sorry if I don’t reply, I just found like 40 unanswered requests in my inbox that I never received on my email, therefore never replied, I’m sorry! If I see it, I will reply!

ABOUT ME
Almost everything I do at the moment and have been doing for the past years, is or is connected to music. I study the classical flute and am working in Cologne in an orchestra at the moment. There's incredibly much to discover and learn about classical music and I really love doing it. Working with different musicians is very inspiring and I am really lucky to have been able to work with some amazing people performing the music I love.

I can't excactly say I actually have time for hobbies besides the flute, but there are some things I love doing whenever I have free time. Though I'm no singer, I love singing very much. I think it's the most natural way of expressing myself. Vegan cooking, reading and the occasional yoga and jogging sum it up.

I'm also very easily amused, no matter how stupid the joke, I'm pretty much guaranteed to laugh at it :D

PHILOSOPHY

Being grateful is one thing I'm trying to learn every day. I try to make the world a tiny bit better by changing myself and trying to be more honest every day. I like to think that everything happens for a reason and even difficult situations can only end well, that all the people I meet, are meant to teach me something and change the path of my life, as well as am I to change theirs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like meeting and talking to strangers. I love the idea of visiting a new place and getting to know some people who live there. It's not always possible, but I always hope that it happens.

PS. If you want me to host you, write in your request "Carrots are the best", although feel free to sub carrots to your favourite veggies :P

Music, Movies, and Books

I wasn't much of a book worm as a kid, but I've really learned to love reading books. My favourites are classic novels, Russian, Estonian and German literature have been on my list quite often in the past few years, but I try to read different things. Also books on human psychology have proven really interesting, just finding out stuff about yourself is incredibly insightful and just teaching me how to be a better human.

Some of the films I've loved: La grande Bellezza, The Grand Hotel Budapest, Tangerines (one of the best Estonian films in my opinion), La vita e bella, One flew over the cuckoos nest, Intouchables, The pianist, Cinema paradiso, The 100 Year-Old Man who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared, Notting Hill, Life of Brian.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've played in front of some orchestras as a soloist a few times, I think that has been the most amazing thing I've done, at least it really felt amazing.
