Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i know how it is in a new place escpecially in a new big city, and my appartment is big, and since i have some friends oversee and from venezuela and japan, people are coming and going:)..during the world cup here (last summer 2006) i had up to 9 friends staying in my place, it was a huge party and a great time!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

before that page here was founded i was traveling in the states, aurtralia and south africa with my bagpack, and i slept on many couches, and mostly met people and friends throughout the network of the youth hostel, which is still a great place where you can meet people when you travel on your own, a great invention : youth hostels. but now this couchsurfing sounds like even better, and the big advantage of it is too get a couch even before you are leaving your homeairport;)...so i will see how that works here!?

living in california, krüger park south africa, walking down on a wall of a 70 meter high building:)...

Teach, Learn, Share

teach: diversity of berlin and the germans, and since that world cup here - to show that germans are not as boring and humorless as many thought they would be;)
learn: see new places in the middle of different cultures.
share: my little knowledge about berlin, since i am born and raised here (which is quite an adavantage:)) cause not a lot of people here in my district can say that;)!
