ABOUT ME

Sarcastic and simple, worldly but clueless-basicly I love my job, i mean, I get paid to wear whatever I want, speak my liberal mind, and make people feel good about themselves. How perfect is that?? Other than that, I'm down to earth and down for whatever. I go to live music venues (the more local and cheaper the better!), coffee shops, dancing, shopping (it's a sickness) I've got a wonderful family that i don't get to see nearly often enough, and a few great friends.
I drink cheap american beer, wine that's on sale, and smoke dirt-weed. Hope you don't mind, would you like some?
My hobbies are varied-i write/blog, swim so long as our neighborhood pool is open, walk, jog, go to the firing rangeand take naps. My favorite thing, honestly, is just relaxing and exchanging stories with friends, new and old.

i've got a couch you can stick your ass on, so long as you've had a recent bath-and eventually, am looking for intresting people in intresting places with couches for me to crash-and also a shower i can use?

I'm new to couchsurfing.com, but have done a little crashing of random pads here and there in life. nothing spectacular, but I'd like to remedy that, soon!

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

recently, Steinbeck's East of Eden, but love Palahnuik, Christopher Moore, anything by Terry Pratchett, Spin magazine, tabloids, CNN.com, The Onion, big fan of old-school country music and rock-n-roll. I don't watch much television but watched Children of Men a few days ago-one of the best movies i've seen in years.

Teach, Learn, Share

welllll...i can teach you how to safely load, handle and fire a .38 Special., build a fire, bait a hook, saddle a horse (although I don't have one at my disposal, unfortunately-but that's not my point), and safely remove a live chipmunk from your bedroom closet. i can teach you how to do square, round, and seamless layers (hair cutting). I can show you how to play 3 man (a drinking game involving dice) but I can't tell you how the game ends...because I don't even know.
...as far as what I'd like to learn, the list is endless, but mostly I'd like to learn conversational spanish.
