I just finally graduated college with a bachelor's in creative writing. After eight years of living in Madison and twenty years of living in Wisconsin, in August I'm starting on a road trip from Wisconsin to California to find a new home on the west coast (or somewhere along the way!).

I like nature and looking at things and trying new foods and all that stuff, but even more than that, I like meeting people and learning about them. For me, traveling wouldn't be very much fun at all if I didn't make some new friends or connect with the people around me.

I love to cook and I can talk a lot about books. Would love to learn more about traveling on the cheap, especially in Europe, as I'd really like to spend some extended time over there in the next few years. Also any advice on finding a job when I get to where I'm going.
