About Me

My approach to living is to be kind, humble and look for the truth.

Art school theater major that makes a living photographing everything but weddings. I shoot mostly food and restaurants. I like to know how and why things tick. I ask lots of questions. I'm an atomic age, vintage Vegas sign, with a touch of spaghetti western, gothic southern, lots of Arts and Crafts movement philosophy mixed in. Throw in a biscuit and that sums me up.

Collector of found items in nature (fossils, bones, shells, wood, rocks, minerals, feathers...etc.). I should have been an archeologist or a social anthropologist. Father of five amazing adults.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It seems to be a grand way to have an adventure while exploring an unknown area. I hate to think I missed an amazing image because I didn't know it was there, so who better to ask than a local?
