Overview
About Me
I am a free spirit with deep Spiritual convictions, and a wide variety of interests. I was in the medical profession (both clinical and pre-hospital) for nearly 25 years, but recently decided to leave that life behind! I've spent the last 7 months in search of my true-self, and what really makes me tick, and what brings happiness to not only my life, but those around me as well. I enjoy traveling, but try to avoid the typical "tourist trap" locations, and instead try to immerse myself in the surroundings. I don't smoke, drink only socially and not in excess, and Not looking for "hook-ups"! Please be respectful...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have an easy time making friends wherever I go, and truly enjoy learning new things [about different cultures, languages, beliefs, etc.] By couchsurfing, rather than opting to stay at hotels, resorts, or even Bed & Breakfasts, I believe there's a greater opportunity to learn more from the locals about that particular area.
Interests
spirituality, being outdoors in nature, hiking, photography, history [learning about medieval times, seeing historic architecture, etc...] cooking, communing with others of like-minded interests, astrology, divination with Tarot (and other like modalities), exploring spirituality topics with others

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent one week in Haiti as a medical volunteer at the Trauma Hospital. [among other very profound experiences]
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to learn from "locals" about the history in the locale, learn languages and customs from different parts of the world, teach conversational English to others, share my wisdom about Spiritual awakening, alternative medicine, and other insights that may interest others. I'd like to think that others have much more to share with me about their world, than I with them
What I Can Share with Hosts
