About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To retire on Mars

ABOUT ME

Woo! Yea, I've been a teacher. Loved it, but then got a scholarship to do my Masters of Theological Studies in America!

I'm a strong Christian and also pretty open minded and love interacting with all sorts of people; particularly those who disagree with me! I won't try to convert you, but am all up for conversations about life, universe and everything if you are too.

I have been described as a geek with social skills. If you're passionate about something, then tell me, cos I love hearing about stuff from people who actually love it. Less interested in what you don't like.

PHILOSOPHY

Not living for myself!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd hear about it for a while, and I thought it'd be a cool thing to get involved in. So I hosted a few people in NZ, but now I'm travelling and looking for friendly North Americans!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met cool people hosting in New Zealand. It's fun to show people the best places which tourists don't normally see!

Music, Movies, and Books

Sci fi
The Bible
And a bunch of stuff in between
I'm reading a bunch of young adult fiction at the moment. Nice and relaxing!

Music: Pretty broad appreciation aye. Indie, Classical, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Punk, Techno/trance, anything that's good. Don't really like gangsta hiphop. There's some quality hiphop out there though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once saw a chipmunk sprint into my tent, freak out, then sprint out again. That was awesome.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want to hear it, I can teach you about the awesomeness of Physics and Maths, Languages, Theology and the linguistics of the Bible. If you let me I will rant for ages about either pioneering nuclear energy technologies or pioneering human spaceflight technologies. Yea. I'm a geek.
