to accept that I know nothing of Spain, Spanish and Barcelona and truly enjoy learning as much as possible about all of them

ABOUT ME

I have travelled all around North American, mostly climbing, plenty of hitchhiking. But I this is my first time in Europe. I'm trying to work and live in Barcelona for a year before continuing traveling, aiming to really experience this place and it's people.

I am trying to teach myself Spanish. I've been inspired by many of my students who came to Canada with very little English skill, and will do the same.

I love rock climbing, surfing, longboarding and music. I'm a very social, open-minded person.. I try not to say no to anything (at least the first time).

I want to constantly be challenged and learning, and teaching what I've learned to others when I can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was verified at my house in Qualicum Beach, Vancouver Island, Canada and I hosted couchsurfers here and at my place in Vancouver.

I've had only great experiences so far. I love the philosophy, and I admire the values it inspires.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Watching glowing waves crashing on the shores in Tofino at midnight. (phosphorescence/bioluminescence). I had nearly drowned surfing that day.

I'm happy to help anyone with English, and to introduce people to any of my interests. I think sharing stories is a very important part of life.

I plan to find conversation partners who want to practice speaking English and help me with my Spanish.
