ABOUT ME

I am a mother of two, living in Vancouver Canada, work as a teacher and have worked off and on in theatre production (puppetry, technical, stage manager) , photography, and film/tv. I want to travel again having taken many years off to raise family (and so broke!!) I am planning to see Brazil, Europe again-Spain, Italy, Germany, Turkey...Northern Africa....
Finally renewed my passport and was told about this Couch surfing site...

PHILOSOPHY

photography, hiking, travelling, writing, biking, filmmaking, watching films and listening to music from around the world, learning, meeting people, dancing, keeping fit, exploring, anthropology (culture and truth) and Stephen Jay Gould, have a deep interest in world music and in another life- an ethnomusicologist would be a chosen career! (for now its photo-journalism/writing)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

travelling to Ireland and Latin America was one of the best times of my life. Dophins swimming off the coast of Belize, on a sail boat with no wind....12 midnight, full-moon and being able to touch them as they glided by....omg!!!! But, having children has changed me forever!

same as above- I love people who make me laugh (and at myself!!) and like to have fun 'in the moment' , people who bring themselves without pretention, are self-effacing and like to learn new things about the country they are exploring. (lifelong learner)
