Hi!

Not sure where to start. My name is Platon and I was born and raised just outside Stockholm, Sweden where I still live with my family to this day at age 19. Like most people here on CS, I love traveling. Waking up in a foreign country and experiencing fundamental cultural differences is probably my favourite aspect of traveling. Being a scout for the past 10 or so years, I am also a nature lover by heart. Apart from the cultural aspect of traveling, this is probably the second most important factor I take into consideration when choosing destinations.

Since I grew older so did my love for traveling. So much it eventually made me commit to my first backpacking trip last summer. As we were staying at different guesthouses, meeting people from all over the world and making friends, I quickly came to the realization that I want to travel solo and meet new people instead of isolating myself with friends I already have. This is one of the reasons I want to use CS now when I travel by myself.

Apart from the above I would describe myself as a very spontaneous and easy-going person. I like long talks, whether they be random discussions about something life has to offer or just sharing fun personal stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music, whether it is classical, R&B or techno. Recently I have spent way too much time listening to electronic music. Aphex Twin is a favourite.

Books and movies that leaves you thinking late at night are my favourite kind. Big fan of Black Mirror.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once saw the northern lights when I was traveling in the most northern parts of Sweden.

I would say I am too young to teach anything, but I can always teach you some funny Swedish words :)
