CURRENT MISSION

I am an English teacher in Japan, but am ready to 'escape' this country after about a year of living here! Next, I will be traveling South East Asia in May - July 2006

ABOUT ME

I've lived in 4 countries in the past 2 years, and am now planning my departure from Japan. I'm traveling the world trying to find the ideal place to settle down (any advice!?) I like a drink now & again and love getting lost in new places. I really will try anything once, and am into adventurous outings. I love camp fires, and acustic guitar, and chocolate.

PHILOSOPHY

Having lost my mother recently, I feel prety strongly that life is freakin' short... do whatever you want while respecting others, love your family & anyone who appears to be trying to help you or be kind to you.

Um, I've crashed on many a couches... usually it wasn't planned, but when it was I've had great experiences. I've couch surfed all over europe, and the U.S....

Hertzog, any stupid comedy that makes me laugh... I am a movie nut, so I'll watch anything (or begin to watch anything)... Some music I'm currently in to: Nick Drake, Elliot Smith, Mars Volta, Wolf Parade, Beta Band, British Sea Power...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

camped in the jungles/beaches of Mexico for three weeks, with no plan and usually far away from civililaztion. (either it was the stupidest, or most amazing thing i've done... not sure which)

Teach, Learn, Share

Shiatsu, macrobiatic cooking, drawing, knitting, graphic design, marketing, traveling, changing oil, fixing a flat tire, interior design, great music.... don't ask me how to spell anything, or where to invest your money... I suck at those two things.
