About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Not to let curiosity kill the cat

ABOUT ME

What can I say? I have been studying literature for the past aeons. Currently I am very interested in Flaubert and Balzac. But beyond this I have acted and written poetry and prose. Every now and again I feel the urge to leave my desk, step outside, take a train to encounter somebody whom I could otherwise not encounter. This is, I suppose, my motivation for surfing couches.

PHILOSOPHY

Not to think too much, even though that can be difficult. Let chance lead the way. Kairos. Co-incidence. A flexible plan. However, also the ability to know what one wants and what one does not want.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to host and be hosted, I would like to let hospitality become a potent currency again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A little.

Interests

I guess I like three things most: listening to Bach and Bob Dylan alternately, reading the beginning of all kinds of novels, and whisteling whilst walking or cycling.
