ABOUT ME

I've always wanted to travel all over the world and my job now offers me the opportunity to do so. I am currently based in Toronto.

I'm looking for a sort of balance in my life. That's why I'm full of contradictions. Nothing's black or white; there is no one right thing to do as long as you go with the flow and assume the choices you've made. Be flexible, adjust, reflect but always be true to yourself!

I'm a very open-minded and creative person. I like to have fun in any way. Dinner with friends and a bottle of wine, dancing all night long, cartwheels on the beach haha - anything. I like to work with my hands, create, feel.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

CS is a beautiful thing, really. And I think most people on it have good intentions and like to explore, discover and share. But one's bad experiences obviously make you suspicious and more selective. I totally understand why references are so important (not a fan of CSers with lots of references who never wrote one in return...just saying!!) when meeting a stranger (common sense), but at the same time, I'm so grateful to the people who gave me a chance to experience CS at the beginning. We all live in very different situations/environment and we can't all host/surf/meet up. So I try to give new members a chance when possible. Knock on wood - I haven't had any bad luck :))))

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosted by/I've traveled with amazing CS members. As soon as my place is big enough to host people, I will do so :)

Interests

Dancing! Latin dancing in particular (SAMBA DE GAFIEIRA, Brazilian zouk, samba no pe, bachata, salsa, forro, kizomba !), but I am open to all kinds :)
Traveling (of course !), acrobatics, carpentry, design, DIY, music, wine, cooking/nutrition, languages, sustainable lifestyle and habits, reading, hiking, art in all forms, etc. My interests keep on changing. I'm a very curious, down to earth person !

Let's do some vegan cooking! Even hardcore meat lovers will fall for it :D

I like change so I always try new stuff which means that I can guide you pretty well through the city or at least recommend good spots.
