ABOUT ME

I like meeting new people and new cultures and this was one of the reasons I initially chose the faculty I did; I had the dream of living in a different city every year, taking a whisp of the life there and then moving on. The dream got lost along the way, but my love for the new and the different did not. I find attractive and fascinating every little detail: from a butterfly to a painting by Van Gong. I have hosted several friends of mine in the past ten years that I have leaved alone, but always in the old fashioned way. I used to be a little scared, suspicious even, of the on line "friend-hosting" but I was lucky enough to meet two wonderful people that my boyfriend hosted recently and I realized : "Well, this could be interesting..."I am much into politics, social sciences, technology issues, games ( be they computer or board games), travelling (as much as I can), reading, tango, cinema, music, the theatre, as well as pubs, clubs and taverns. If you have at least one interesting story, I am here to listen to it! If not, I hope to help you leave with one to tell to your next host!"

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short and you never know when it is going to end. So, do not blacken your soul with hatred, envy or revengeful actions. What you give is what you get!

Movies -> Eternal sunshine of a spotless mind, Braveheart, Awakenings, My name is Sam, Forest Gump, Philadelphia, Scarface, Scent of a woman, Stand by me, Crash, Identity, Inception ( and guilty pleasures like Dirty dancing or Step Up2 :P)are just a small sample (I am a sucker for movies)
Music -> Doors, Deep Purple, Queen, Oasis, Cranberries, Garbage, Manic Street Preachers, Paramore, Evanescence, Smashing Pumpkins, The Verve. And then, depends on my mood: the 60's, the 70's, the 80's, the 90's as well as the current music scene! Of course, I couldn't forget my recent passion: TANGO!!!
Books-> do not get me started...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been there to hold people when they laughed and when they cried. I have said good-bye to loved ones and welcomed new ones. I have seen my cousin grow from a peanut-sized embryo to a full-grown woman. Is there anything more amazing than life?
