PHILOSOPHY

Life is what you make out it, so create the life that you want for you. Also, I've found "soul-searching" is often counterproductive. Finally, do not do to others what you do not want done to yourself.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have yet to participate in the CouchSurfing project, but I plan on using it mostly to build connections with people from all over the world by living with them for a few days :).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to the Couch Surfing project so have yet to have any true experience with it. However, hopefully I'll find some couches to stay in when I travel to Japan, South Korea and Taiwan within 2 years.

I can teach what life is really like for a young man in the United States. It is quite different from the image created by the media.

Knowledge of both the English language and American culture, particularly of the Washington DC metro area. I am also educated in History, Politics, International Relations and Current Events. I spend a semester in Germany, and have some knowledge of life in Germany. I can also share my life experience of 27 year old American, which might be quite different from some of the people I will meet via couch surfing.
