I've learned a lot through traveling. I've couchsurfed in a couple of places and hosted visitors on a number of occasions.

I'm convinced nothing tops insights from a local host. I've met some cool people and some became friends.

If my schedule allows it, I'll show you the city. I can show you the area where I'm from, once notorious and now transitioning: the Bijlmer/Amsterdam South East. This part of the city was planned by Modernists and inhabited by mostly migrant communities, alternatives, and progressives. I like getting foreign perspectives on the cities where I live, adjacent, while I also appreciate local guides within the places I visit.
