Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This year I am working in the US as Russian language assistant in Carleton College in Minnesota. We have pretty large winter break in our college — and I don't want to stay in one place all that time:) I would like to learn more about that country, to see, how people live there, to visit beautiful places — but unfortunately don't have enough money to live in hotels during all that time.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: The Doors, Green Day, Pink, The Pretty Reckless, Nirvana, Gogol Bordello, modern Russian music.
As for movies, I haven't seen a lot of them in my life, but nevertheless I have some favorite directors: Quentin Tarantino, Lars van Trier, Tim Burton.
And being teacher of Russian language and literature, of course, I have favorite books:) The author, whom I really love, is Vladimir Nabokov; but I also have a favorite book, written not by him, — "Alice in Wonderland".
