Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
The doors to our modest flat are always open for the guests from all over the world at any time:)
We can also invite to some trip in Ukraine, for instance to help in exploring Carpathian mountains (as this is our most favourite and dearest place in the world and we will never be fed up with it).
We have travelled a lot in Europe enjoying hospitality of couchsurfers in Berlin, Vienna, Wroclaw, Gdansk, Katowice and others. We had so wonderful experience every time!
We also explored Asia where we have met the best CSs ever.
We prefer travelling somewhere closer to nature and further from people.
If the journey is planned we always read the history of the place. It helps not only to see the place but to feel it truly.
We are interested in politics, philosophy, journalistic and many other things.
Music, Movies, and Books
Just some of the authors:
E.Hemingway, G.Orwell, J.R.R.Tolkien, K.Vonnegut, J.Kerouac, Bulgakov, L. Tolstoy, U.Andruchovych, S.Zhadan.
We like classic rock music, different folk music and classical instrumental music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A parachute jump!
Cooking vurda (Carpathian cheese) with hutsuls on the hight of 1400m
What I Can Share with Hosts
- tasteful Ukrainian dishes (we love cooking, so you will not be hungry for sure);
- playing in guitar/reed pipe/drymba/harmonica a lot of Ukrainian folk songs;
- endless conversations about Ukrainian culture, history, geography, politics;
