Originally from Ukraine, I am currently studying in a liberal arts college in the US and struggling to combine banking and finance studies with traveling and volunteering. I never stay too long in one place and enjoy meeting people with various interests and cultural backgrounds who have a story to share. I feel really inspired by people who have some strong interests and passions, doesn't matter whether it is performing arts or fishing. As for myself, my biggest passions are travelling and exploring

I do not have many couchsurfing experiences yet but the few once I had were really great. For me couchsurfing is a great way to make new friends and better understand the country and people

I am pretty overwhelmed with studying and volunteer/project work, so free time is a pretty rare occurance in my life. During academic year I enjoy reading, doing artsy stuff, playing guitar and chilling with friends. All other time I am traveling, either just for fun or to volunteer

I mostly listen to rock and classical music but wouldn't miss a good jazz festival as well. In clubs I prefer house or techno.
Among my favorite authors are Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Julio Cortazar, Franz Kafka, Albert Camus, Somerset Maugham and Erich Maria Remarque.
