I am a Canadian gal backpacking across Europe and a bit of Africa for a few months! I absolutely love travelling, especially because I get to meet people from all around the world. At this point I have seen so many castles so I try to do different and even a little bit strange things in each place I visit.

Back home I am a student at Trent University where I study politics. My uni is so Canadian that we offer over 100 flavours of poutine (and if you don't know what poutine is then you have lots to learn about Canadian culture from me. That's right it's not just saying sorry). My life has always been a bit strange for example I'm vegetarian but I've been working in a butcher shop for two years! I've got some funny stories about it too.

I love playing the ukulele (which I carry around with me), travelling (hopefully I never get off the road), drinking games (Its the only thing that makes me competitive), parties, talking about anything and everything (seriously I would probably find paint interesting if you knew enough about it), and doing things that are out of the ordinary.

I've been hostelling for the past few months but I thought it's time to try something different and see if I like it! I rarely get to meet locals in a hostel so it's time to change that.

兴趣

The way to my heart is through off the beaten track adventures, engaging conversations and a fun night (in or out, I can have just as much fun hanging in a kitchen as at a club). Some good old joking around also helps of course!

I once had a hippie live in a hammock in my forest (no lies his name was Jack and he planted a ton of hallucinogens on our property) and he got me really in to the ukulele. Ever since then I've been teaching myself to play and actually have an electric uke now! Nothing is funnier than a uke attached to an amp. I clearly also love travelling and in each country I go to, I try to learn a few basic words (I usually do this while drunk tho so my vocab tends to be inappropriate oups).

My musical taste has grown a lot from when fergie was my jam (no lies I'll still get down to her tho). I spent most of my life really in to Indie and Alternative like the Arctic Monkeys and this funny little band called Walter Mitty and his Makeshift Orchestra. However recently it's been all bout rap and hip hop for me! It all started when I heard Caroline at a party and I've been crazy about it ever since. Everything from Kendrick to Brock Hampton to Lil Uzi.

Can I say something amazing that I almost did? I was almost born and raised in Vietnam. My parents lived there for several years before I was born and then last minute decided they wanted to have me in boring Canada. My dad was literally on his flight home when I was birthed, watching Shakespeare in Love to pass the time.

Always down to teach someone a bit of uke! I also try to learn a bit of the language of places I go so maybe we exchange your language for a bit of French or Hungarian!

Whether you're looking for a wild fun time or just some chill cultural exchange, I am excellent at both. I never (ok very rarely) say no to an opportunity or new experience so I promise we'll do something cool. I make friends incredibly easily so I highly doubt it'll be awkward and I'm easily impressed so I'll love to hear what you have to say and do.
