Greetings! I am a 24 years young individual who currently resides full-time in an egalitarian community (Acorn Community) in Mineral, Virginia. I enjoy gardening, music, books, stimulating conversation, and mystical exploration. I am a friend to all and an enemy to none.

PHILOSOPHY

Human life does not fulfill its promise within the structures and establishments of society. No one comes to true self-hood by being what society wants you to be, nor by doing what society wants you to do.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just recently joined couchsurfing and have very little participation to speak of.

As I said above, my experience has been limited beyond the good things I've heard from friends that have used couchsurfing's services.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a very wide array of music, though some long-time favorites: Of Montreal, Cake, Beck, Pretty Lights, STS9, Mos Def, Radiohead, Moe, The Flaming Lips, Jamiroquai, Daft Punk...

I'm not so into movies. I've watched them but it's not a preferred method of entertainment.

I like books! I really like Bulgakov :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I suppose amazing is fairly relative in this context, but when I was in high school I took helicopter flight lessons for a short time. I racked up 15 hours behind the stick and had a lot of fun doing it. If only it wasn't so damn expensive and resource intensive!

Also, I live on a bicycle. Is that amazing? I'm not really sure.
