I'm an adventurous person, always looking for the next exciting place to go.

I have lived in a few different places, and I find it very exciting to learn about new cultures. But isn't that what couch surfing is all about?

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I grew up in the US Midwest, never thinking I would leave, and no real desire.

I joined the military and was sent to Okinawa, Japan. After being there for some time I realized how amazing it was to see new cultures and meet new people.

I was introduced to couchsurfing by a person I met at a hostel in Seoul. When I realized there was a whole community of people trying to experience the world and make connections with other people from all over the world, I knew I wanted to be a part of it.

I decided recently I want to dive in as many countries as possible. So that's a goal in working on now. But I also love traveling in general, so you might find me somewhere traveling even without my dive gear.

I'm excited to get back to traveling after the big C-word has shut down the world for so long.

I like diving, hiking, watching the sunrise or sunset, and enjoying a beer to relax.

I would love to do a language exchange with anyone that is practicing English! I speak a few words of Japanese, but not much. I'm open to learning anything that someone else is willing to teach.
