unpatriotic world citizen. multitalented, analytical, reliable, fun... and sometimes moody.
born in bristol, grew up in hamburg, then travelled quite a bit by myself, studied ecology in edinburgh, since then ecologocal project work and research in peru, australia, south africa, finland. based in aberdeen, but spending far more tima out of the country than in it.
update 2014: based between Aberdeen and Hamburg, with less time to travel, but I still try to get away when possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

yes. more and more...we have been amazed at the intensity of our meetings with other couchsurfers. every one has been different, interesting and worthwhile. we always try to give something somehow when we are surfing with others. i really struggle with people who just see it as a free bed - that is not what it is about; to me, couchsurfing is about meeting people and sharing experiences, world views etc. i hope to continue to surf and host for a long time, yet. it has restored my faith in humanity after a lot of negative experiences and people abusing my good will - couchsurfing is wonderful!

would love to share languages: happy to talk german with any learners and would enjoy brushing up on my spanish.
when simon is around going climbing is a good option. he is a patient and able teacher and we have enough gear to kit people out for a little excursion.
