Hi, I am Sharat. I hail from Kerala, India (popularly known as 'God's own country') but recently moved to Norway. I love travelling and feel most at home when I'm out in the nature. I'm quite introverted, but enjoy meeting people on my travels. Things I enjoy most apart from travel are music, driving / riding, football (Liverpool FC) and a little bit of photography.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe travelling should not be just about visiting places but also to try and understand the culture, lifestyle etc. and there's no better way than to interact with the locals.

I am not in a position to host myself unfortunately but I'm looking forward to the day when I can, hopefully in the next couple of years.

But if you're in the Oslo area and would like some company, I'll be glad to spend time showing you around (I'm relatively new here so not very familiar with all the places yet 🙂)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A two week motorcycle ride across the Himalayas - an amazing adventure spanning ~4000kms. The best two weeks of my life so far.

Was also on a week long road trip around Iceland in a camper van - second most memorable trip after The Himalayas.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I enjoy good conversations - I can share my experiences in life, journeys etc. I like sharing and exploring music. And maybe some Indian recipes too, I'm not a good cook by any means though :)
