ABOUT ME
I'm a blonde, blue eyed swede currently occupied with studies in the field of earth science in Uppsala, Sweden. That means that I love to be out in nature, looking at rocks and of course: drinking beer! I also love music and spend alot of time playing all sorts of instruments like guitar, mandolin and ocarina. I'm a fun-loving guy, always on a quest for new adventures and new ways of having fun! Between my studies I'd really like to travel as much as i have time to and as long as my studentloans can take me, the feeling of arrivning to a new country and just smell the air and the atmosphere is just magical!
PHILOSOPHY
I live for the environment, nature and having fun, that's why I study earth science! I get to work with great people who feel the same and loves to be out in the woods looking at rocks and stuff. I guess my philosophy is that if we can learn to work together we can save this planet from collapsing, and couchsurfing is a great way to bring different people together! If everyone believed in couchsurfing and worked together, wouldn't we have a brighter tomorrow for this planet?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I may have a couch, but my studies keep me from saying a definite yes right now.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfed through out Europe last year!
Interests
I spend alot of my time with a instrument, a computer or a book in my hands, and in the weekends I often end up at a bar or club, because who doesn't love to go out and drink beer and/or dance to great music? I also work alot with webdesign (making websites) and studentrelated stuff, like receptions for new students in my town, welcoming them to the studentlife and the city, which I think is great!

Music, Movies, and Books
I guess I'm booring when i write this but I just totally love Tolkien! I think I've read everything he put on paper. I also read alot of other fantasystuff and try to keep updated on new releases and such, man I love those weird orcs and elves and hobbits and stuff.
Ah, and music! I'm into everything that has the word "psy" or "trance" in it, like sphongle, ott and infected mushroom. I also listen alot to reggae, classic rock and balkan beats, and everything that makes you want to dance! I guess my absolute favorite band is The Rolling Stones, man if you could be mick jagger for a day, what would you do?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year me and four others created a "reception" for around 150 new students to the program I'm studying. We had activites to make them get to know the city, eachother and the field of study over 2 weeks time. As there were alot of people who came to study but didnt have a place to stay yet (there is kind of a shortage of accomomdation in my town) we arranged so that everyone who we knew in town that had a couch for spare offered to lend it for as long as the new students needed it. The project was a complete success and some of the people who lived together from not knowing eachother at all still live together, which I think is amazing! I mean, when couchsurfing becomes permanent, thats cool!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about different rocktypes, the forming and the history of our planet and our landformations. I can share some songs on the ocarina and maybe give you a few secret recipes for awesome swedish food! I would love to learn more about different types of typical [insert any country here]-food and cool, extraordinary stuff in the city we're in staying, like buildings or landformations!
