About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a 21 years-old french woman. I'm living in Bordeaux, south-west of France studying physiotherapy. I'm a little shy when I don't know people but I like to know about new persons, new cultures. I'm dynamic, enthousiatic but I can be a little grouchy when I don't sleep enough. I like eating and when I travel in foreign countries, I love to discover some food specialities. I'm not a really good cooker but I can manage to make some simple recipies !

Interests

I like travel and discover new things. I'm a fan of cinema and books (Agatha Christie and Stieg Larsson). My time is divided in : school, homework but also, take a beer with friends, watch movies and run (time to time). I also appreciate to listen to music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the first thing I've done who impress me now it's when I was 16, I decided to left to Germany for 3 weeks. I would love to participate in a workcamp. My parents didn't want to let me but I convinced them of the great experience that it could be, the challenge that it can reprensent (I didn't speak really good english and my knowledges in german were below 0 !!!). It was an amazing experience and I did 2 more workcamps over the years.
The second thing is when I was in Burkina Faso (I'm part of a group of students who wanted to learn more about physiotherapy in this country. We went there and share a lot with medecine students, physiotherapists, nurses ... about how does the medical system works ...). I felt I was a stranger (more than in the others countries I visited), specially because of my skin color. And because of that, people wanted to learn more about you, they didn't turn the back on me. They were welcoming, even if they were extreamly poor. It make me realize how we act in our rich countries, what we are missing by focusing in material terms.
Anyway, I've never had enough of news things and I want to add a lot of impressive moments to that list ;)
