I'm 27, currently unemployed (stay at home mum & desperate housewife, ha ha). I love going out in the nature, hiking, exercising, cycling, skiing in the winter, gardening in the spring and summer. I'm not good at cooking, but I can make some pretty good cakes. ;)

At this point of my life I'm on a mission to find a job. I am a teacher and my job is not the easiest one, but I love it. Otherwise I just try to learn something new every day, be happy, be open minded. I try to do little things that make someone's day just a little bit better. I love meeting new people because you can easily get used to the comfort of your home but then you lose the opportunity of widening your horizons. If you can't travel, at least you should meet people who do. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on CS because it opens up your mind. I didn't think it would be as great as it is.

Unfortunately there are not a lot of travellers where I live so I don't get to host. And I couldn't host in UK because I didn't have my own place, which is a shame.
But I tried CSing in Morocco and had a GREAT time! What I like the most is meeting new people and learning from them. :)

My couchsurfing experiences were great. All of them. I met a lot of people for coffee and became great friends with some of them, I couchsurfed in Morocco which was awesome, but I'm still waiting for my chance to host. :)

Interests

Sports (skiing, running, hiking) walking the dog, reading, baking, cooking (trying to learn), eating ice cream, learning to speak English better. :) Maybe learn some more languages (Italian?), becoming a better teacher, better mum, better person.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Adele, Florence and the Machine, and there's a whole list of other musicians and bands: The Kooks, Kate Nash, Charlie Winston Lily Allen, Coldplay, R.E.M, The Beatles ....

Movies: Ahh, so hard to decide. Sometimes I like cheesy ones, (Amelie, Love Actually) sometimes I prefer something else. (Volver, Juno)

And books ... I'm a lit student, I can't have a favourite. :P

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmmm ... The most amazing thing that happened to me was finding out that the worst (personal) disasters are never as bad as they seem. Think pink! There is always a way.

And Cornwall. Corny Cornwall was just awesome. So was the Sahara desert. :)
