My name is Matheus, I'm from Brazil and I really love to travel and meet new people and cultures. I'm graduated as a doctor and curently work at a clinic with ocupational medicine.

I'm a nerd, I just love movies and series! I've read a lot too in the past, but currently with work and day to day activities that was left a bit aside. I love to have conversations about almost all subjects (not a fan of sports haha), and people use to find me funny. I'm also very clean and organized. I like to cook, and even more to eat! I'm gay and have a boyfriend (almost husband) who is the love of my life. I'm very respectfull and I'm always working on becaming a better and more human person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've chosen Couchsurfing to get to know locals and get that real experience about how it is life to where I'm going. In a hotel or hostel you can get some of that experience, but not as imersive as coushsurfing can offer!

About movies I'm very ecletic, althoug science fiction has a very apealing aspect for me, movies like Arrival, Contact, Interestelar are always a good deal.

I love to watch TV series, my favorites are The Office and Lost, but I watch a LOT of series, really, A LOT.

About books, Harry Potter will always be dear to my hearth.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've lived and studied abroad on USA for a year while participating on a Brazilian program for students in 2015. That was by far the most intense and rich experience that I've ever had. I've went to places and met people that I never knew I would. I've learned a lot, and gotten the satisfaction of also teach about my own culture.
