Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to road trip, meet people, experience different cultures. I enjoy deep conversations but also appreciate small banter or shit talking. I like to learn about people’s experiences and make genuine connections.

Learn new things. I would love to learn how to do a handstand or how to do a muscle up.

Interests

I like to hike, kayak, climb (mostly top rope but bouldering too), SUP, and anything pretty much outdoors. I recently learned how to snowboard in Alaska and I can’t wait to do it again.

Also anything to do with fitness: weightlifting, running, soccer, swimming, Pilates, yoga, tennis, volleyball.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I quit my job and spent 3 months in Costa Rica. I’ve done this 4 times. Haha I need my freedom.

I was vegan for 11 years.

I was a geologist.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make chimichurri or tres leches. I love sharing recipes from my childhood.

I’ve been told I’m a good salsa or bachata dancer too so if you want to learn how to dance, I got you!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook and bake. I like using fresh ingredients, herbs, and lots of vegetables, I like to bake from scratch and I recently began learning how to make bread and sourdough. I can cook pretty much anything except grill (I’m not good at grilling). I’ll make dinner and you wash dishes. :)
