ABOUT ME

He finds very hard to describe himself. It'd be much better if you get to know him. For what he can say, Diego is down to earth, easy going, happy and very gullible. He's also sometimes intolerant, selfish and dickhead. However, he's currently working on that ;)

PHILOSOPHY

He does think and plan for the future. He finds hard to believe when people say they don't think in the future and just live the moment.

Started couch surfing in south america, hosted in australia, trying to find a place to call home to host more people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

He started using CouchSurfing in south America. He made lots of friends and lived great moments that won't be forgotten. The best thing of traveling is the people you meet, their stories, experiences, and happiness. The second is the food!

Music, Movies, and Books

The movie of my heart is 'Into the wild', I enjoyed it more than the book. I find it really inspiring. '2001 a space odyssey' is my favorite Kubrick's, although 'the shining' is the best thriller ever. 'American history x', 'Open your eyes' by amenábar and 'taxi driver' have a lesson for life. 'waking life', even it's very hard to understand, I do enjoy every time i watch it. There's something new I evidence. 'Apocalypse now' feels dense through those foggy rivers in southeast asia while 'catch me if you can' and 'the shawshank redemption' make me wonder how capable and smart we can be.

Music? there's a song for every single second in life. I was born between salsa, merengue and vallenato songs. I enjoy dancing these latin rhythms. I don't know much about bossa nova, I love it though!
I enjoy classic music, as well as jazz and blues. Don't know too much about important artists but they're a beautiful background to read, write or drink coffee. I love Nach's music, what a poet!!!

'love in the time of cholera' and 'a hundred years of solitude' by Gabriel García Marquéz, 'the stories of eva luna' and 'The house of the spirits' by Isabel Allende are perhaps my favorites, 'Rayuela' by Cortazár is amazing!!! , 'Boyhood' by J. M. Coetzee. I love books about history like 'open veins of latin america' by Eduardo Galeano, 'food in civilization' by Carlson Ritchie.

He could teach some western cuisine basic techniques, some basic origami stuff. How to salsa, merengue and vallenato could be another subject. Español? por supuesto!!!
