If your anything like me you have matching luggage with with matching luggage strap. Make an embroidery with your first initial using fabric gel paint. Personalize your straps to stand out and not get confused with the other luggage coming out of the carousel at the airport.

YUMMIES
Bring food with you to the Airport. Its a lot cheaper. I try to bring foods with me to the airport that don't spill like ramen noodles,vacuum sealed foods,pop corn freeze dried foods or bags of chips. pack a water bottle some mino or other dried flavors for water

ENTERTAINMENT
Make sure you bring entertainment for long flights. Magazines, Books, a journal, dvd player, laptop, iPad. It's ok to tell the person next to you that you don't want to have a conversation with them.

CAB
When you at arrive at your vacation airport or destination. Don't share a cab with anyone and let them know where you are staying. Sometimes they'll hang out at the front of the hotel or hostel talking to people. Like they had friends there already. If you do not like their behavior let the staff of the hostel know or the security at your hotel. It would be horrifying if you got abducted on your vacation. Let you family know the drivers license plate of the persons license plate

DOING RESEARCH ON YOUR HOSTEL
Sometimes doing research on your hostel is key. They're are some Hostels that are known to send for underage girls and the manager has been caught and sent to jail. Beware of BED BUGS usually meaning that you have to dous your room with diatomaceous earth pour along the sides of the wall. In dealing with BED BUGS you can also buy orange and pine needle essential oils or go to a another hostel or hotel. In dealing with BED BUGS you have to steam all your clothing and possessions or throw them away. Also in dealing with BED BUGS a stronger manlier soap is suggested like IRISH SPRINGS,ZEST,ORGANIC SOAPS or get a MANLY BODY WASH from the store. In dealing with BED BUGS get a strong MANLY scented TALCUM POWDER like SHOWER To SHOWER ocean scents.
If you happen to get LICE or FLEAS herbal essences has great GRAPEFRUIT shampoo and conditioner also any shampoos with EUCALYPTUS and PEPPERMINT oils are really helpful. Also you can suffocate the bugs by using vinegar,menthol rubbing alcohol, or ammonia but not all at once. For MOSQUITOS i would use garlic oil citronella candles or incense

PICK POCKETERS
Places that have high traffic areas like the middle east ,china, san francisco,ca, new york. It is best to where deep pocket clothing, hidden pockets,zippered pockets and zipped purses. This type of clothing is pick pocketer proof. The more prepared you are on vacation for the better.

LOSING YOUR I.D
Usually you have to get a new birth certificate sent to the address of where your staying. It usually takes 30 days for the birth certificate to drive in the mail.You can show proof of residency with your Hostel or Hotel receipt. Although you do not need a I.D to travel to another state. Usually a TSA officer will ask questions and then you enter the x-ray luggage checkpoint. Few states that do allow you to apply for another license online are florida and new york.

PACK LIGHT
If you don't trust the organization that your staying with pack light. Like a stow away carry on luggage or a backpack. So your not worried about your belongings.

puma shoes are definitely not good walking shoes for long term walking shoes. Pumas are just good for putting the petal to the metal

FLIRTY HOST
If your host is being flirty with you....GET OUT OF THERE IMMEDIATELY!! If you don't the whole time your there your going to feel uncomfortable around them and regret your couchsurfing experience. Book a hotel as soon as possible! Tell a family member what happened and enjoy the rest of your vacation. Or with some other sophisticated levels of flirting they may show up to a bar that you go to and to show that they're "friendly" start flirting with girls at the bar and then it escalates to infinity amounts of stalking

TRAVELING BUDDY

Bring a travelling buddy if you plan on doing low budget trips. I.e couchsurfing, food prep etc it will be a LiFE SAVER. I know lonelyplanet.com has a place where you can post and get someone who loves travelling as much as you do
