ABOUT ME

Did some solo travelling for about 10 months in 2010/11. Sold my house in BC and moved to Montreal as an extension of my current adventure. Maybe I can learn some french! Sadly, while I was traveling I only had one CS experience. I almost never received a reply to my requests to other CSers in Europe. It would have been a huge enhancement to my travel experience! So, please, if you get a request from someone who is as old as your mom, consider hosting despite the age!

PHILOSOPHY

Try to leave a very small footprint. Over consumption can be cured!. Tolerance and respect of others at all times. Sometimes that is hard!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I understand it CS is a fantastic opportunity to meet members of the world community, both by hosting and guesting. Kind of a "pay it forward" concept, which is brilliant! I hope to make connections that otherwise would be difficult at best, with like minded individuals and travelers, and to learn from them and share experiences, wisdom, laughter and resources.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have three fantastic children. That's the best! Skiing in the backcountry of the Columbia and Rocky Mountains of British Columbia and Alberta. Many marvelous experiences with my children and dear friends. I am looking forward to many amazing things in my future!!!
