ABOUT ME

I love: life, laughing, friends, family, road trips, new cultures, wine and food, crazy sights, helpful strangers.

Have always loved travelling, since I got my drivers license at 16 and went on a road trip that afternoon I've always enjoyed exploring new places. Have just finished five long years of university in NZ and just arrived in Australia to work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

enthusiastically. I think this is a great project, I love meeting people from different cultures, having my mind blown by how they see things and giving them a taste of life as I live it in my home. When I'm travelling its amazing to meet people that live in other places, completely different perspective

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I went through Hawaii I met a few awesome locals and my friend and I ended up crashing at their place for the week we were there, was so amazed at how the friendly helpful strangers could turn an otherwise generic, guidebook trip into a completely different experience.
Loved hanging out with them, and seeing it through their eyes, and am keen for more experiences like that and to help others have the same here.

Interests

Mountain biking, beaches, snowboarding, chasing the sun.
Music, visiting new places, making new friends, catching up with old friends, a good wine, a cold beer on a hot day, learning about other cultures.
