I grew up pretty sheltered in Calgary, Canada constantly spoiled by my family, and after completing high school there, I decided to take the plunge and cross the ocean to study aboard.

I've been living and studying in London for the past three years and ooooooh boy, I've learnt so much more than just law, by being thrown into the deep end on my own.
While attending law school during the day and burying my head in textbooks and articles, by evening I was planning what to eat (which has undoubtedly lead to the creation of some funky meals), juggling how to make new friends, and thinking of what new event spaces would be cool to check out!

I love spending countless hours just wandering around the city, sure the 'IG spots' are cool and all, but there's something special about wandering and finding a quaint little park or local cafe that you never would have discovered on social media!

I was raised to be cautious and to plan every step of my life, but yet to be trusting and not be afraid to take up new opportunities. I guess I've related more to the latter. I'm introverted, but I love hearing the stories of others and being in the company of various types of people.
I love trying out new things, whether it's something as small as getting a different coffee order, meeting a new person, or planning a trip on my own to an area that isn't as popular.
I'm down for spontaneous nights out (with a half-hour notice so I can plan my outfit and makeup...), as long as the company I'm around is easy going, it'll surely be a good night!

Music: Literally anything. I am not picky at all! I find myself listening to the likes of the classics Frank Sinatra, Miles Davis and Barrington Levy, all the way to City & Colour, The Drums, The Smiths, to Kanye West, J Cole, or old school RnB.

Movies: When I was younger I wanted to be a director of photography and work on movie sets.. this was obviously influenced by Wes Anderson and Stanely Kubrick.

Books: Haruki Murakami is my favourite author, but at the moment...do law textbooks count?

Living by myself! It may seem like a small thing to many people, but thrown to the other side of the world on my own at just 18 has truly shaped the person I have become today.
