About Me

I have an interest in community empowerment, enjoy traveling to villages that have their uniqueness, enthusiastic about trying typical foods in various regions, like cooking activities (maybe because of the habit of the family food business heheh), sometimes like writing when the energy is good. Of course, I like getting to know new people from different cultural backgrounds. I believe that no meeting is coincidental. everyone has a reason. I can't wait to meet new people. Oh, one more thing, I can be your friend for climbing mountains too, you know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Tonight (25/10.24) I reopened my couchsurfing account after opening it for the last 8 years. Well, I was inspired again to accept new people from various countries after watching a video of an Indonesian who was able to travel abroad but with minimal capital. The story moved me and felt like I was encouraged that one day I too could do that. I'm currently 28 years old and we have one empty room (currently as a storage room for things, but don't worry it will be resolved soon). The location is quite strategic for access to interesting and historical places in Semarang. Our family also runs a food business. so don't worry, you won't starve. In fact, you can taste one of the food menus in Indonesia. not just one kind, but many. ha ha ha

Music, Movies, and Books

Indonesian song by Salma Salsabil (The Winner of Indonesian Idol 2024), Movie (I think korean drama is amazing). Book (Novel and Personal Development)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think there isn't. but wait, I'll try to remember.

1. When I was at college, I was with a close friend, the four of us rode a motorbike at night to Grobogan district just to celebrate the birthday of one of our good friends. willing to walk through the dark and cold forest. all paid off by a warm welcome from his family.

2. When I was at college, I was with my college friends. willing to ride a motorbike from Semarang to Madura just to see and feel what it's like to ride the Suramadu Bridge. that's crazy. 9 hours more.

3. I once ran away from home because I was stressed about not being able to find a job. I ran away aimlessly, until midway, I contacted one of my friends. he recommended a former real work college in one of the villages close to the peak of Mount Merapi, Sleman. there, learn the integration of agriculture, fisheries and animal husbandry. the bonus is getting a salary and the sound of the explosion of Mount Merapi almost every night. very memorable.

4. I have traveled alone to Karimunjawa Island, Bali, Palembang, Pangandaran, Seribu Islands, Riau, Lombok.

5. Currently, I have resigned from work and decided to run a business at home.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
1. As a happy family, I, no, I mean my father will teach you how to make "sambal pecel". If you don't know, pecel is a typical Indonesian food consisting of various vegetables topped with peanut sauce. usually served with additional protein to make the food more nutritionally complete. we have been running this business since 2014. this is similar to the salad eaten by foreigners.

2. Personally, I might tell and show several community development activities in Indonesia, both in the environmental, health and economic fields. Also, I can recommend a trip to a village that has a spirit of empowerment from its local potential. Maybe this will be something interesting for those of you who come from abroad.

Learn.
1. as a good guest, please help mother, me and my little brother to learn English. I know it can be learned from the internet or I can teach it because I have finished college. But, it's very difficult if I'm the one teaching. So, I need other people, if it's someone who comes from abroad, then the spirit will be different. instead, we will teach you Javanese. looks worth it doesn't it? hahahah.

Share.
just a good memories.
