I travel very often on short notice, and I have regular visitors. I can confirm couch requests not more than 3 days in advance, you can still send a request, but confirmation would depend on my travel schedule.

I am super selective about hosting. So

(1) No Reference, No Hosting
(2) You don’t Host, I don’t Host
(3) No incomplete profile without proper photos

Copy-paste requests are totally fine as long as you have read 'About' and 'Home' section carefully (comeon, we all know how it is being on a trip), not because you need to impress us but rather for you to know that you have a host you are comfortable with.
